The cheaper is the good old Acer 5560G-7809 - excellent one if you want to save money but get a very good gaming performance and an overall good laptop. Availability fluctuates from time to time.
But if you prefer an Intel I3 cpu over AMD CPUs, you can grab the Acer Aspire V3-551G on Newegg. It seems that Acer controls the sub 500$ gaming laptops section. Besides the I3, I can’t see significant advantages over the 5560G.
Here’s a cheaper alternative to the dv6z-7000:
HP Pavilion g6t-2000 – Intel i3-2350, Radeon 7670, 4GB RAM, 500GB 7200RPM HDD ($10 more for $510, $490 after coupon.)
If you look around on the website you can find a version with an SVA panel although it comes with a $50 premium.
What I meant is that the HDD upgrade is an additional $10 bringing the total up to $510.

Lenovo Y580 is having LABOUR DAY REBATE TOMORROW
$100 worth + $15 for window 8 upgrade
so it’s basically $730 for 736p resolution.
I think it’s a laptop with unbeatable performance to price ratio.
