Really great deal from HP. You get I7 + GT 650M GDDR5 + nice HDD capacity + very good FullHD screen for 925$!
With 32GB mSSD to make it fun + backlit keyboard it will cost you 1000$ total
read the review on studentbuyingguide.
For the one in the title, which I also recommend:
1. click here to get directly to the dv6t model
2. Hit “Customize” and change the graphics card to the GT 650M 1GB GDDR5, display option to the FullHD one.
3. If you want, under “hard Drive Acceleration Cache” choose the other option - 32GB mSSD, if you want (I recommend it, it will save you time) and check the backlit keyboard under the keyboard section – will add 75$ for both.
4. After you’ve finished and got to your cart preview, you can enter the coupon code NB2481.
That’s how it should look like:
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
- 3rd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM Processor (2.3 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache)
- NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with 1GB GDDR5 memory [HDMI, VGA]
- 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
- Microsoft(R) Office Starter: reduced-functionality Word/Excel(R) only, No PowerPoint(R)/Outlook(R)
- 1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
- NO mSSD Hard Drive Acceleration Cache
- No additional security software
- 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
- 15.6-inch diagonal Full HD Anti-glare LED-backlit Display (1920 x 1080)
- SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support
- HP TrueVision HD Webcam
- 802.11b/g/n WLAN
- Standard Keyboard with numeric keypad
More options (but there are more):
1. Same configuration, with only the GT 650M upgrade and no FullHD screen or mSSD. You’ll get the same I7-3610QM + Nvidia GT 650M performance for 775$.

how’s the warranty?
it comes with 1 year, but you can upgrade.
I don’t know hows good HP warranty if that’s what you mean
thankx for information ,Is dv6t7000 nvidia 650m 1gb without 32gb mssd and full hd is best choice in $800 range
performance-wise only – yes, but you won’t get a FullHD screen..
