The HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 quad edition is one of the main HP performance laptops. As of now, you can equip it with up to the GT 650M GDDR5 GPU, the I7 is mandatory (I7-3610QM base configuration), very good FullHD screen and not too few upgrade options including mSSD and backlit keyboard.
The build quality is good, price and upgrades are usually very good and the performance per price is excellent to the best out there – depends on the coupon (probably the best if you include the OS) and the FullHD screen is just great – read:

Drawbacks:
- Without good coupons, might not be worth it.
- Build quality could be better, although it’s now worse than the others.
- Gets hot when under heavy load (other gaming laptops too)
