I don’t have much knowledge on these techy stuff and I need your help to pick which laptop is better for gaming. And if you have time, can you please explain why one is better than the other. I would really appreciate it. Here are the specs:

    Laptop 1: Acer Aspire E5-575G-72111
    – 8GB DDR4
    – Window 10 OS
    – i7-7500U 4CPU (7th Gen)
    – 2TB HDD 2.5inch 5400 RPM
    – 15.6-inch FHD 1920×1080
    – NVIDIA 940MX with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM + 2GB intel 620vc = total 4GB
    – I year warranty

    Laptop 2: ASUS X556UQ
    – Windows 10 OS
    – i7-7500U 3.5ghz 4CPU
    – 12GB DDR4 RAM
    – 1TB HDD
    – 2GB 940MX NVIDIA DDR3
    – 15.6 inch FHD Reso

    Thank you so much!

I’m in a different country and I am looking for a heavy gaming laptop. The specs are above and I was wondering if which laptop has a better performance for medium to heavy gaming. Thank you!

Well, if these are the only options, the Acer should in some cases provide higher performance, but the Asus may have other advantages, likes better keyboard and lower temperature

I’d say between the 2, go with the ASUS. Having more RAM is never a bad thing.

If you do that though, and you have the money for it, go for the ASUS ROG G752VS. It’s the one I have, and it’s absolutely amazing.

I unbox it here – https://youtu.be/HnOzlJU2xzA and it’s easily the most exciting and informative unboxing I saw on YouTube 🙂

The $800 price tag is, sadly, difficult to swallow. Especially, if you are looking for a lot cheaper alternative, best Laptop under 200 dollars .
