The new FangBook is based, I believe, on the MSI GT70 barebone, same some of the higher end 17,3″ “Force” laptops XoticPC offer. For 1335$ with a GTX 675MX, I7, the usual 1080p screen and also a Windows OS you get a lot for your money.
There is an additional free 500GB external HDD if you buy from CyberPower – but you better check first if it’s worth it (tax/shipping)
A little more about this laptop – it is of good build quality and has a pretty good cooling system according to reviews. I believe it is the best Nvidia-based deal for a 17.3″ gaming laptop currently.

From what I understood from them: it’s made for them and not based off msi or any other standard barebones. While they are by far the cheapest around (to the point where other companies couldn’t price match them), they also have a pretty bad rep for having crap product/terrible customer service. Their warranties also don’t include shipping for either way. Not saying “don’t do it,” just giving a heads up to consider.
Just to be clear, when I say crap product, I mean that a lot of times, according to their reviews, things will be not correctly attached or require some tech savvy work. If you are such a person, usually all the parts are there, just not necessarily all hooked up properly.
this is a very important info. Can you link to these reviews? Remember also that we have to compare these reviews to other companies’ reviews
I’ll check about the barebone – but it really looks like a variant of some MSI barebone (check the pictures)

The most recent batch have been more positive than I have seen in the past. But still probably one in five that had either issues with customer support or issues with their systems although this batch is mostly desktop problems. They really are the cheapest around.
As for the barebones, I believe you and agree that they look identical. I specifically asked cyberpowerpc and they claimed that it is custom made for them.
compare, for example, these pictures of the Fangbook and XoticPC MSI-based “Force”:

see how it’s identical or almost identical. I don’t say the inners are the same, but yes – I think it is MSI based
