I7, GTX 670MX
The new Asus G75VX includes the newer Kepler GPU – GTX 670MX which is a good progress over the GTX 660M and GTX 670M in the Asus G75VW models, especially for this price and the fact that the G75VX-BHI7N11 includes also the good 1080p screen (unlike some G75VW models in this price).
The build quality of the G75VX is very good and it’s very sturdy and it has an excellent cooling system which is very good in keeping the noise and temperatures down making this laptop very comfortable to use and preventing throttling.
Downsides are the 5400RPM HDD, high weight and not-too-good battery performance (3-3.5 hours surfing the web through WiFi). The HDD can be replaced with another HDD or SSD, so this is not really a problem, given other laptops usually come with the typical 7200RPM HDD which is also not too fast. Besides, for gaming it won’t matter almost at all.
For 1250$, this is a very good deal for such a gaming laptop.
